At present, most garbage disposal is mainly landfill, accounting for more than 70% of the total disposal volume. Most countries in the world, especially underdeveloped countries, use this method for most garbage disposal. This method is characterized by low operating costs, simple operation, and large processing volume. However, there are very big disadvantages. First, it occupies a large amount of land, wastes land resources, is difficult to select sites, and has high land acquisition costs; second, it wastes a large amount of garbage-containing resources, and man-made garbage will be transformed into "resources that cannot be increased, huge wealth thrown away", which cannot meet the needs of resource processing; third, the environmental pollution is serious. Because most of the existing landfill construction cannot meet the requirements of sanitary landfill, the bacteria and toxins in the garbage continue to seep downward, polluting the land and water quality, and with the increase in the amount of accumulation and the continuation of time, the pollution spreads to the surrounding and deep underground, leaving harm for thousands of years, and the toxic and smelly gases emitted by the garbage spread to the surrounding, forming three-dimensional pollution in the air, the surrounding, and the underground.

 

Although a few "sanitary landfills" have been built in many developed countries and some more developed cities in my country to reduce some pollution, there are still many environmental pollution problems caused by technical imperfections that cannot be fundamentally solved. Therefore, the advantages of garbage sorting equipment used in garbage sorting are highlighted. Garbage sorting equipment is used to treat domestic garbage as resources, accurately classify urban domestic garbage, and then use appropriate methods to treat it according to the different properties of the classified garbage, so that it can be recycled and reused, thereby truly achieving harmless and reduced garbage, turning harm into benefit, and at the same time reducing human demands on natural resources and realizing sustainable utilization of resources. Therefore, the development prospects of garbage sorting equipment are very promising.
