Due to the recent boom in the garbage sorting industry, the garbage sorting and processing industry has undoubtedly become one of the most promising industries. Our construction waste can be recycled in the following ways:

1. Resource utilization of old wood and sawdust

Old wood and sawdust, as common construction waste, can be directly used as wood and processed into composite boards, or crushed wood and sawdust can be used in fuel composting raw material plants and erosion protection projects to achieve the goal of maximizing their use.

2. Reuse of old bricks and tiles

The bricks generated from building demolition can be reprocessed and fired as unburned bricks, used as water stable aggregates for paving foundation projects, and even reprocessed and fired as hollow bricks or cement raw materials.

3. Resource utilization of old asphalt

After sorting and separation, asphalt materials can be recycled and made into materials for paving road surface layers or base layers.

Concrete, as an important component of construction waste and a component with significant recycling value, has considerable utilization value. As mentioned earlier, concrete can be crushed into powder, used as a component of various additives, and also as a filling material. At present, research on the recycling and reuse of old concrete has become relatively mature. It is mainly used for producing recycled concrete and recycled cement.

The recycling of concrete can greatly save resources such as limestone, natural stones, and iron powder resources. It can also reduce coal combustion through the reuse of resources, but it requires manual sorting to remove impurities. Therefore, the in-depth application of engineering informatization can improve management efficiency, while reducing the difficulty of resource recycling and processing, and the reuse of resources will become increasingly valuable.

5. Resource utilization of fine powder materials

Further subdivision and utilization of fine powder materials in construction waste can improve the value and comprehensive resource utilization efficiency of recycled materials. If fine powder materials are not processed and utilized, the efficiency of reusing construction waste will decrease, and it will also cause pollution to the environment. So, fine powder is an important component of the resource utilization of construction waste. By studying the composition of finely ground mineral admixtures for waste concrete and waste broken bricks, as well as the relevant physical properties such as standard consistency at different fineness levels, adding an appropriate amount and a certain fineness of fine powder to cement can improve its performance.
