After excavating the stale garbage, it is screened and classified according to the material utilization category. The classified combustibles can be used for incineration/power generation, the humus soil can be used for planting urban landscape plants, and the unsuitable materials can be used for on-site landfill. After treatment, the storage capacity of the landfill site can be restored to over 70%.

Firstly, the aged garbage is transported to the garbage treatment plant by a transport vehicle, weighed and weighed, and unloaded to the feeding workshop. The loader pushes the garbage into the plate feeder, which then sends it to the belt conveyor. The belt conveyor then sends the garbage into the drum screen for mechanical screening. After screening by the drum screen, the material on the screen is larger in particle size and is lifted by the belt conveyor and sent to the air separator for wind separation. The light material is blown out and falls onto the light material receiving conveyor. It is then transported to the packaging machine by the unloading belt conveyor and pulled away by the transport vehicle after being packaged; Heavy materials fall directly onto the heavy material receiving conveyor due to gravity, and are transported by the unloading belt conveyor to the transport vehicle for removal. The screened material is small particle size material, usually gray soil material, which is transported by the receiving conveyor to the transfer conveyor, unloaded on the transport vehicle, transported away, and made into humus soil.
